Founded in 1949 the University of New South Wales (UNSW) is one of Australia's most prestigious teaching and research universities. UNSW Kensington campus

At the UNSW Kensington campus, there are seven residential colleges on campus and one nearby. College accommodation provides a range of options for single study/bedrooms, shared bathrooms, all meals and linen. UNSW is constructing an additional new 1000 accommodation units, due to open in 2010.
