The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the UAE’s oldest and most prestigious universities. As an independent UAE institution of higher education, UOWD attracts students from all over the world. The current enrolment is approximately 3,500 students representing almost 100 nationalities. UOWD offers a variety of specialist Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in the areas of Business and Information Technology. All UOWD degree programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and are also audited by the Australian Universities Quality Agency. UOWD’s Centre for Language & Culture offers language courses from English language study for University preparation to part time Arabic classes and English language teacher training.
